If you struggle with unwanted sexual thoughts and can't keep them out of your head, you are not alone.
If you are experiencing sexual compulsion that is growing worse over time, you are just like hundreds of men receiving help and healing in Pure Life Alliance groups and counseling. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Hope. Your life can change.

Recovery is possible. We have been where you are. There is hope. Even in the most severe situations, recovery from sexual addictions and behaviors is possible.

Get Help in Support Groups

Dealing with sexual brokenness requires being part of a recovery group for men. Give it six months at least before deciding a group isn't right for you.
What are PLA groups like? A safe, confidential environment where we allow God's grace, not guilt and shame, to motivate growth and healing. Newcomers are assigned a mentor and taken through the basics of the recovery journey. Weekly homework based on one of the many books in our approved books list is facilitated by a trained group coordinator. Weekly accountability, customized for each man, where men are questioned by the group and truly held accountable for their choices. Members commit to support each other during the week as needed.

Healing Takes Commitment

Change takes time. A lot of time. Sex addiction requires three to five years to set you on a life-long healing path.

A mistake some men make is to stop recovery once a few external behaviors go away. They leave and not long afterwards the old behaviors return. Sometimes men may feel like giving up after working for many months and seeing very little improvement. It is critical to remember you are embarking on a journey not trying to reach a destination.

There is hope, but it will take a lot of work. A decision to enter recovery is a serious commitment.
