Let’s face it, pastoring in our highly sexualized culture brings many challenges. We maybe mention sex in our preaching once or twice in a year (if even that), while our congregations are “discipled” nearly 24/7 through sexualized content and imagery from our culture. So how do we talk about sex? How often? Is there such a thing as too much of a focus on sex? What do we do with our own sexual shame and brokenness? How do we affirm people with differing views while holding firmly to a biblical sexual ethic? This lunch certainly won’t answer all the questions, but please join us as seek to create a healthy, helpful dialog around this important topic.
