Brian has over three decades of counseling experience, first as part of his pastoral ministry. People were sent to him from the local community with whom to walk in healing. He saw many set free from deep wounds. Then, under his nonprofit, Lionhearted Ministries, after leaving pastoral ministry in 2020. He is a counselor and mediator, using both skills to heal the heart and strengthen relationship skills for those with whom he works. He understands healing from his own long journey of recovery from childhood sexual abuse and emotional incest. Brian and his wife Karen have been married 43 years. They have four daughters, three sons by marriage and other bonus children. An avid Biblical storyteller, Brian has preached in many countries.
